Aegis 400 (PATENT PENDING)
A single-system, low-power detection platform that works with gas and non-gas sensors capable of 24/7 real-time coverage at -40oF that can automatically shut down operations if conditions deteriorate below a level defined by the client.
Alert Plus is a registered Wyoming LLC made up of longtime Wyoming residents who are committed to responsible stewardship of our lands, clean energy, and sustained economic growth.
Our team has years of combined experience in the gas fields and project development. It's on the ground knowledge of energy industry that has highlighted the need to provide greater protection for the gas field employees, for the general public and the wildlife in and around these sites.
Alert Plus has patented the Aegis 400 and is currently manufactured by RKI Instruments, maker of gas detection since 1925. We are presently negotiating with respected, regional providers for distribution and service agreements to place the Aegis 400 into more field operations.
In the energy industry safety is of the utmost concern. Workers are put at risk of exposure to hazardous gases on a daily basis and even when necessary precautions are taken, accidents will happen. Currently, the majority of available electronic safety devices have three significant short-comings:
- At below 0°F the typical gas monitor becomes sluggish, delaying response time and increasing risk;
- Workers are required to be in close proximity to, or fully immersed in, dangerous gases for detection to occur or to diagnose and correct the issue;
- Fugitive emissions of dangerous gases regularly happens between service visits.
